It's a true video nasty, and only for the most dedicated horror fans. This is a suspenseful, grim, and memorably hair-raising flick.

In any case, this definitely deserves a watch and you probably will find something interesting here. July 2017 In The Mouth Of Madness (1994) Imagine a novel so overwhelmingly hypnotic, so tremendously horrifying that it paralyzes its audience with fear and turns even its most sensible readers insane. It has an element of cheesiness, yet deeply thoughtful concepts, gratuitous effects and great actors. To rate, slide your finger across the stars from left to right. Such an awesome, awesome way to close it. The film does partly suffer from being very early 80s, as some of the effects appear goofy, but it's all part of the fun. No plot, nothing scary, just going through the motions. Synopsis: A family moves into an old mansion, where an unseen force has a dark effect on their actions. While In the Mouth of Madness is primarily for horror fans, it roars with creative energy, a discombobulating edge and an endearing fervour/ temperament that transcends it’s genre trappings. It's impressive, solely because you're reeled in and almost sympathetic towards the guy, until sick stuff starts happening and the film begins living up to its name.
