I think memoirs are the best books to be listened to on audiobook because it feels (or rather, sounds) like a friend relating a story to you. A memoir written by a woman who loses her mother and then promptly takes up heroin and cheating on her sweet husband (who she loves very much). The words had barely left her mouth when she burst into tears and had to leave the room. That's why God created you: to serve.
I figured nothing to relate to here: the loss of a parent, the drugs, the cheating, and any and all hiking/camping/roughing it…these are all completely foreign to me and also things I'd like to avoid.
